Clarissa is a 20 something year old photographer from Sydney, Australia. She graduated from University of New South Wales back in 2012 with a Masters degree in Public Relations and Advertising. Prior to this she also received a Bachelor degree in Arts/Media & Communication.
Photography has been a hobby of hers from a young age, beginning with her parents’ film camera and eventually owning her first DSLR, a Canon 400D in 2008. She started her professional career in wedding photography, under the business name ‘Clarzzique’ in 2011 and loves everything about the wedding industry!
Having grown up on an island in Vanuatu, she recalls the exciting times of counting down to her next visit to Sydney (where she was born and where her grandparents live), that is about the only memories of traveling she has as a child, plus the one or two trips to Hong Kong, China & New Caledonia that she can vaguely remember. She officially caught the travel bug after returning from her first trip to Japan with friends in 2010. The following years involved countless trips to Hong Kong, China, Singapore and a short visit to Bangkok… but hopefully as of 2014, she will explore new places and be able to fill up her passport before the next expiry date on 19th November 2019!
When not planning a trip, she finds herself daydreaming about what new restaurants to try out and possibly testing out her cooking skills with some new dishes.
Photography, Travel and Food are no doubt her most favourite things, but it wouldn’t be the same without the company of family, friends and the love of her life.
This blog hopes to document things that catch her eye, ongoing adventures and delicious noms, so stay tuned!
