This past week has been waaay short! to make things even more confusing, Easter long weekend just had to coincide with daylight savings. It was fun tricking Alfred to wake up at 9AM when it was actually 8AM but can’t say the same about glancing at clocks around the house (which have not been updated) and get a heart attack thinking;
“what?! its almost midday already?? I only just had breakfast and barely did a thing!”
“wait, when did I put the roast in the oven again??”
“9pm?! have we been eating dinner for the last 2 hours???”
My body clock definitely gets more confused during daylight savings compared to jet lags.
Roadtripping – Solo!
Last week I crossed off one of the most dreaded drives – road tripping to Hunter Valley, by myself! The trip was for an engagement shoot, which I was very excited about the chance to shoot out of Sydney for a change! Just, I’ve never driven more than 1-1.5hr alone and the 2.5hr drive one way was slightly worrying, not knowing whether I was the kind of driver to start ‘nodding’ after a certain time. Safe to say, I was well entertained with the ## overtakes I did.. and so reckon I’m a better long distance driver than the boyfriend 😛

I’m my personal travel agent
I won’t be surprised to see my history of recently visited websites include: Skyscanner.com, Tripadvisor.com, Hotels.com, Airbnb.com. It almost feels like every 5mins I get distracted and start searching something for our upcoming trips or imaginary trip… lost count of the times I’ve switched from being a wedding photographer to travel agent! Last week, I’m finally putting the pieces together for my trip to Italy!
Taking bookings for portrait sessions in Italy! Are you, or do you know anyone traveling there and then? Get in touch for more info hello(at)clarzzique.com
Fri-yay!
So good to be part of the crowd that gets excited about the weekend! The last time I had an entire weekend off was over a month ago. It felt sooo much longer, so as a result we made the most of it – staying out late on a Friday night, bowling session, cafe breakfasts daily, market hopping, walks along the beach etc.etc. If you follow me on snapchat (@clarzzy), you’d probably feel fat just looking at all the stuff we ate! That gets me a little worried about the upcoming free weekend in 4 days…
