Happy Easter!
While most people are enjoying the long weekend, its a working weekend for me and my team shooting 2 weddings during this period – luckily not back to back though! Its definitely been a short week, but the highlight is definitely catching up with a few friends over good food and board games too!
Leafy Green Additions
I finally made the (short) drive out to the local markets to pick up some fresh blooms for home. I wanted to implement some greenery in my bedroom office to make it feel more ‘lively’ in here, it also apparently improves productivity too (yet to feel its effectiveness). I’m more of a black thumb than a green thumb, so instead of buying a pot plant, simply arranging leafy branches in a vase sounds just as good. It will also last longer than flowers too. I LOVE the look of these silver drop eucalyptus – my room smells like them! This is a newly furnished corner in my room and my favourite 🙂
Easter Egg Hunt
We made a surprise visit to my aunt’s on Good Friday, coincidentally we were there in time for my baby cousin’s first hair cut – it was not an easy shave alright! They had some Easter festivities planned for the kids – an Easter egg hunt! Its been too long since I last seen/participated in one of these.. was tempting to join in but beating little kids to the chocolate eggs first would just be mean! It was just as fun watching them scurry around the yard for them though and then counting how many they each found. Super sweet that they decided to divide all their findings equally with each other!

Sunday Afternoon Drive
We didn’t get a chance to drive out of town but we still went for a late Sunday afternoon drive to a nearby beach – Maroubra Beach. It was an area which I have not seen in depth, so I was surprise to find there was more than just the beach, there were rocky cliffs too which overlooked the water. I still didn’t get to see it all as it was getting late, so definitely have to come back and chillax around there sometime.
Foodie Highlight
We finally tried the new pop up which replaced Sokyo Ramen at The Star, called ‘ Singapore Hawker Style’ which supposedly serves up some authentic Singaporean dishes. Were we impressed?.. I’ll share more in an upcoming blogpost 😛
