We changed accommodations to Mercure, Nusa Dua for the last leg of our hotel-hopping (so much fun..) and Mulia was conveniently just a few minutes taxi ride away. Mulia is one of the highly recommended places to stay at, that is if you feel like spoiling yourself for $400/night. If you can’t then do what we did and spend half a day checking out why there is so much hype about this hotel, though of course not being able to use their facilities 🙁 Stepping foot inside the hotel, you’ll be staring at the beautifully, naturally lit lobby… with your jaws dropped and can stay dropped pretty much the whole time you’re there. We strolled all the way down to the beach area and saw the insta-famous statues in the pools – had to selfie with them of course! Bali resorts are seriously, MASSIVE. I reckon its not hard to get lost in one of them.
Our other reason for visiting Mulia is to try out their buffet lunch which also gets a lot of hype, more on this experience in a later blogpost!
