Near the end of our Bali trip, we challenged our stomachs to eat up a whole buffet….. we wish we could anyways.
Mulia is also known for its buffet lunch and being in Mulia it does not come cheap for around $40/pp~ (including tax… always forget to add tax! :\) We arrived before they opened at midday just to roam around the hotel and be ready to queue if there were any. We did go on a Saturday and surprisingly wasn’t packed out. Perks of going there early? Could get shots of the neatly plated food before other guests start digging in!
There was ALOT of food, many different cuisines; Indonesian (of course), Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean (bbq), Indian, Italian… just to name a few. Best area? The dessert room! Several flavours of gelato to choose from, assorted cakes, fruits, chocolate fondue, pastries and local sweets = heaven. Our game plan was – set out and pick out dishes to share, we returned with 2 of each thing. We ended up with 5 plates of food all up and don’t think we got to sample close to half of what there is to offer! Sad part about is, we stuffed our self silly just from the savoury food… we suck for not living up to “there’s always room for dessert!” mindset 🙁
Mulia Buffet is one of the nicer buffets I’ve been to and definitely a recommended experience despite the price tag, good way to make the most of a trip to Mulia!
Tip: Definitely go in your eating dress/pants 😛
